      The Contaminated Sites Register dataset is a spatial representation of individual sites recorded and classified by the Department of Water and Environmental (DWER) under the Contaminated Sites Act 2003 (the Act). The Act requires certain parties to report known or suspected contaminated sites.

      All contaminated sites queries should be directed to DWER’s Contaminated Sites Information Line on 1300 762 982 or contaminated.sites@dwer.wa.gov.au All queries will be dealt with during normal office hours only (i.e. 8.30am to 4.30pm). The Contaminated Sites Register dataset is to remain Private and Confidential, and is not to be discussed with external parties particularly members of the general public.
