Fire and Rescue Services District (DFES-016)

Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) Fire District boundaries define the gazetted descriptions of fire station districts, based upon cadastral information. PURPOSE: The file shows the area where FESA’s Fire and Rescue Service is responsible for 'incident control' management in conjunction with other agencies. CALM, the Bush Fire Service (BFS), Police, State Emergency Service, St. John's Ambulance and assorted city councils and shires are the main users of this dataset. Councils have a legislative requirement to provide fire suppression facilities to their communities.
