Swan Canning Riverpark Natural Foreshores 2019 (DBCA-067)

This data set was derived from the Riverbank Foreshore Management System, which aims to identify those foreshore areas most in need of works. This data set represents the most up to date assessment of Natural Foreshores.Natural foreshores were first identified and assessed by marine engineer site visits in 2015. High priority foreshores were re-assessed by marine engineer site visits in 2019. The data provides a Swan Canning Riverpark wide assessment of natural foreshores including rocky shore (cliff, rocky emergent) sedimentary (beach, embankment, exposed bank, scarp), vegetated (sedges, treelined).

Data Access Statement

This data is relevant to Schedule 5 Authorities as defined by the Swan Canning Rivers Management Act 2006, that is foreshore land managers in the Development Control Area of the Swan, Canning, Helena and Southern Rivers. This data is only available to registered users because it may contain some sensitive information. This data set is intended to provide a Development Control Area wide assessment of foreshores, local priorities may not be identified.
