Suburban Areas (LGATE-247)

Republished with a redefined set of attributes, Suburban Areas are areas of land declared a “Suburban Area”, allocated under the Land Act 1933 with the purpose of providing townspeople with blocks of land suitable for supportable commercial activities such as agriculture. Derived from the Spatial Cadastral Database (SCDB) and based on GDA and replaces previously published Suburban Areas (LGATE-184).

NOTICE: Geospatial product changes

Landgate’s geospatial product offering has been updated. From 1 March 2018, we have introduced contemporary formats and have phased out older formats that are no longer supported. There will be changes to the file formats and the attributes of some geospatial data file products (cadastre, tenure, administrative boundaries, property street address, reserves report).

To learn more about the changes, including the data dictionaries and to access sample extracts, please refer to our Geospatial products upgrade overview.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact your Landgate Service Manager or email BusinessSolutions@landgate.wa.gov.au.
