Urban Forest Mesh Blocks - 2009 (DOP-104)

Using CSIRO's 2009 Urban Monitor high resolution digital photography, percentage tree canopy coverage of endemic and exotic tree species RANGING 0- 3m, 3-8m, 8-15m, 15+m tall and above has been calculated. The percentages of grass covered areas ranging from 0-50cm have also been calculated. Areas to be analyzed were supplied to CSIRO from the Department of Planning, Lands & Heritage. One shapefile that covered the study area was provided to CSRIO, this feature was attributed for canopy coverage by land parcel.
