      WAMSI 2 - Kimberley Node - 1.2.3 - Distribution, abundance, critical habitat and population growth rates of saltwater crocodile populations in the Kimberley region

      This project aims to:

      1. To count saltwater crocodiles in the Kimberley region;
      2. To survey Kimberley waters that have never been surveyed for crocodiles e.g. Drysdale River and Walcott Inlet
      3. To calculate population growth rates in river systems that have been surveyed previously
      4. Study geographical variation in abundance and population growth rate between rivers systems
      5. To identify critical habitat for saltwater crocodiles in the Kimberley region

      Locations for the study include: • King Edward • Drysdale • Walcott Inlet • May (Stokes Bay)
