On the 18th, 19th, 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 25th of September 2008, Jorg Hacker flew parts of the Kimberley (Montgomery Reef, Packer Island, Perpendicular Head, North Head, Gourdon Bay, Coulomb Point and Quondong Point) and Pilbara (Regnard Bay) for a WAMSI project.
Data was collected with a hyper-spectral scanner (AISA+ Airborne Hyperspectral System from Specim - Spectral Imaging Ltd.), a tri-spectral scanner (TSLS/TSS - built locally by ARA) and a digital camera (Canon EOS 1Ds). In order to correct the distortions created by the flight path navigation files are needed to ensure the raw data can be geo-rectified and standardised to ensure proper use. These files are available to be downloaded to enable the use of the raw binary files included under the parent metadata record.
